It’s absolutely remarkable the speed settings my new camera has. Even at its top end, my old DSLR couldn’t shoot fast enough to capture something like a bird in motion. The fact that I can steady in on a bird and get a shot as it’s taking off is crazy to me.
It makes me wish I had this back when I was shooting skateboarding. The way I could use this mid-air would’ve been so cool. Maybe I should find a way to get back into it. Tricks and abilities like this are what made me fall back in love with photography. It’s nice to be back out of that rut. Just wish I had more time to do it these days…
Maybe I’ll go on a photo walk this weekend, even just a short one as a break.
God knows I need it.
